Gravity on the Appalachian Trail

Appalachian Trail 2017

The Appalachian Trail was my first long-distance hike. I started from Springer Mountain, Georgia on April 3, 2017. Despite struggles with bad weather and a sprained ankle that never seemed to heal, I walked every mile of the trail and finished on October 8.
