Ever since I hiked through Colorado on the Continental Divide Trail in 2021, I wanted to return and hike there again. I attempted to do that by hiking the Colorado Trail in 2023. Unfortunately, medical reasons forced me to abandon my hike. Those problems turned out to be easily resolved, and I returned again in 2026. This time, I was successful, though I had to bypass 36 miles of the trail due to a wildfire.
